Many students want to apply again after their first participation in the Work and Travel program. Especially after living in America, advancing their language development and obtaining a certain financial gain, participating for the second time seems easier to the student’s eye. But at this point, the most important point that bothers the participant’s mind is the issue of job selection. Many participants fall into a dilemma at this point. I wonder if I should go to the same place or experience a different place, participants can be indecisive.
Especially if the student had a good experience in the place or job he went to in his first participation, he may want to go to the same place. Another important point here is the second job. If the participant has previously worked in a second job in the same location, the idea that his second job is ready is very effective in this opinion. The idea that he will not be able to find a second job in a different location can cause hesitation. In addition, the positive relationships developed with the employers and the accommodation owner can bring advantages such as working in a better position on the second trip.
On the other hand, the USA is a very large state from Florida to Alaska, from New York to Texas, and the desire to live and work in a different state or region can also be very effective in the decision-making process. Each state and region can have very different characteristics from each other, this situation can cause each of them to be considered as a separate state or culture. In addition, the participant who experienced the program in a place by the ocean in his first year may want to go to the middle or northern regions of America in his second year. At this point, it is very important for the participant to evaluate what his priorities are and decide accordingly. As Edumaster, we can send our participants to the same workplaces in their second years, as well as place them in a different job in any region of America they want, thanks to our wide range of job opportunities
