Visa denial in Work and Travel is what we may encounter but fear the most.
So let's see what the reasons for visa refusal can be;
If the student is excited and this excitement prevents him from speaking English, the visa officers may give a visa refusal, thinking that the English is insufficient and not at the level to live in America. It can be improved, and positive results are possible when tried again.
If the student's grade point average is low, visa refusal may be given as a result of examining the transcript.
If the student gives the impression of being insecure to the visa officer or if the information on the DS-160 form does not match the information given in the interview, a visa refusal may be given.
Students can participate in the Work and Travel J-1 Visa 5 times in total. The result of the second interview may be positive to correct the mistakes and explain clearly.
Visa officers will not tell you why they have refused a visa. In this case, you can ascertain and inform your consultants as a result of your interview.
While these processes are progressing, it should be ensured that the work start date is not exceeded and postponed. Of course, you should not forget that a visa application fee of 160$ will be paid for each application.
