There are basically two different types of pools where you can practice as a lifeguard in the United States. These are basically divided into two as site pools and amusement parks.

As a program participant who has experienced almost every type of site pool, I can say that the pleasure of working in every type of pool is completely different.

In the pools, which are active and larger than the others in size, the number of people coming is high, it helps you meet a lot of people and improve your environment, and at the same time, your English stays active all the time.

In the pools, which are a little quieter and smaller in size, they provide you with the opportunity to establish a certain intimacy with the residents of the complex who come to each pool, since there are few people who come. In this way, you have very good friendships and friends made in America.

It is quite possible that you will encounter times when the residents of the site do not come to the pool, and in such cases it is quite possible that you will be able to enter the pool or take time for yourself. Even if you do not go out of the pool and there is no one in the pool, no one interferes with your swimming.

You need to get an international certificate to work in this type of pool. Although it varies from employer to employer, this document can be obtained from Turkey or the USA.

Working in amusement parks and water parks is very different, if working in a complex pool is boring and monotonous for you, if you are looking for a working environment that is much more interactive and where you can communicate with people more, this job is for you. Of course, it’s just as fun, but with so much responsibility.

The number of lifeguards to work in this type of pool is considerably higher than the site pools and there is a rotating working system. One of the nice things about it is that you can meet other lifeguards and expand your circle.

The pools in these parks are generally not deep, don’t think of the amusement parks here, that’s why children generally prefer them. Since it is not deep, it is very suitable for children to have fun. In this type of parks, there are usually people watching you constantly and watching whether you are watching the pool or not. They want to make sure you’re doing your job right.
