The jobs that participants can work in the Work and Travel program are legally determined and it is not possible to work outside of these areas. Participants work in certain positions in certain areas of the service sector, such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, amusement parks, supermarkets, etc., within the scope of this program.
All the jobs offered by Edumaster while placing the job are from the appropriate job sectors within the scope of the program. The point that the participant should pay attention to here arises in the second or third job selection.
There are some criteria that the participant should pay attention to when choosing or applying for a second job. For example, jobs that will be done with a vehicle, such as delivery service, Uber or Lyft, jobs that require heavy physical strength, such as construction, warehouse or transportation labor, jobs that are outside the scope of the program, such as pet walking or caregiving, are not accepted by the sponsor. These types of jobs are evaluated and not approved outside the program’s purpose in terms of health, communication and cultural interaction. For this reason, our participant should contact the sponsor directly and get approval before starting his second job.
We enlighten our participants and answer their questions on many important issues such as jobs that cannot be done within the scope of Work and Travel and points to be considered when finding a second job in the pre-flight adaptation orientation that we conduct face-to-face as Edumaster. With the support of our consultants who have experienced the program many times, our participants spend an unforgettable summer without having any problems on these and similar issues before going to the USA and while they are in the USA.
