“Can I get visa approval?” is probably the first question that comes to mind for anyone who plans to study abroad. Comparisons are started by asking people who get visa approval or denial. Although this data gives you an idea, it is not an accurate reference that you should fully take into consideration because each file/case is personal.
Before you start reading our article, we remind you that the visa process is long and detailed, and we strongly recommend that you get expert support in this regard.
All the education, work experience, expectations from the education they will receive, why they will receive this education, and where they will use it are of great importance.
Well, if you say what are the most basic things to be able to apply, we can summarize it as follows:
-Age: Although there is no specific age limit to receive language education abroad, being too old is not something that is evaluated positively by the consulates.
To explain with an example; The participant is a graduate, works in a local company/organization and is 40 years old. There is a sudden desire to learn a language. This is not a very realistic application, unfortunately. However, if this participant has obtained various certificates after graduation, has worked in international business or studied in a different field related to abroad, and if the lack of a foreign language prevents progress in his career, it is considered realistic for this person to apply.
All in all, each application must be realistic, should make sense.
-Gaps: Serious gaps in the lives of applicants are a reason not preferred by consulates and will cause negative evaluation. The expectation from an application is that, if possible, the person will start a job related to his/her field without taking a long break after graduation. Let’s say the participant has graduated, has not made any attempts for 3 years and suddenly wants to study a language abroad. This is most likely an application that will be evaluated as “overstay in the target country”.
-Requirement of Requested Language Education: In all applications, the person should be able to answer the question “Do I really need this training, where will I use this training when I return?”. These are actually the most basic questions that consulates seek to answer when evaluating your application.
It is very important that your application contains convincing, sincere and accurate information. While some applications are face-to-face, some applications are made by file method. As Edumaster, we provide support and free consultation to all our language school students in both cases.
-Finance: Almost all countries expect you to provide collateral when applying for a visa. What we call collateral is the amount that shows that you can cover your living costs as long as you are in that country. Although this amount may vary from country to country and even from city to city, you can think of it as 1000 USD / EURO / AUD / CAD per month on average. It is calculated according to the duration of your stay and submitted to the relevant consulate.
The most curious thing about this subject is “Can my family be a sponsor?”. The answer is “Yes”. The person does not have to show this accumulation in his own account. Someone in the family can be a sponsor.
The main thing is to be able to show the source of the money. It is an issue that the consulates attach great importance to because they have been misled many times in this regard. A large amount of money enters the account all of a sudden, and if it is not clear where it came from, unfortunately it is approached with suspicion.
If you think that you meet the evaluation criteria mentioned above, we recommend that you do not hesitate to apply for a visa.
